Multicultural Greek Council

Hi everyone! My name is Leslie Moreno-Ramirez (she/her/ella/ellas) and I am this year's Multicultural Greek Council's (MGC) Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. I am majoring in Business Administration in Human Resources with a Minor in Spanish and Agriculture. I am from Royal City, WA. I am a middle child, and I have an older sister and a younger brother. I have two wonderful parents that have helped nourish my interest in agriculture. During my free time I enjoy taking hikes, swimming, and adventuring.

My goal is to make a work environment a safer and friendlier space. I have worked many jobs since I was very young, each job had a different working environment. Some with people that made you feel comfortable around, fun environments that could make any work fun, there were also environments that were not the healthiest. These are some of the reasons why I am pursuing a career in Human Resources. Along with creating a safe work environment for everyone, they are also responsible for hiring, training, payroll, etc. I want people to enjoy where they will be working and create a unified and diverse work environment.

I also love to get to know people and learn who they are and what inspires them to pursue their future. I believe that everyone has amazing things to offer this world, which is why I believe it is important to make strong long-lasting connections with others.
